Здравствуйте, дорогие друзья! Вы замечали, что мир потихоньку начинает готовиться к встрече Нового года.
А значит, пора готовить наших детей и учеников к этому замечательному празднику. А какой же праздник обойдется без хорошего стихотворения?! В данной статье мы собрали для вас английские детские стихи на тему «Новый год и Рождество».
Немного об отличиях праздничных традиций у нас и в англоговорящих странах.
Главное отличие — мы очень любим праздновать Новый Год, празднуем его долго и активно, потом празднуем Старый Новый Год. И между этими двумя праздниками Рождество остается чем-то тихим, семейным и незаметным. В Англии и Америке всё наоборот. Они очень сильно ждут именно Рождества, которое ,как вы помните, празднуется у католиков 25 декабря. Весь праздничный запал уходит в Рождество, поэтому Новый год остается в тени. Его, конечно, тоже празднуют, но весьма скромно. Рождество остается семейным праздником и для нас и для англичан. Это традиционно возможность всей семье собраться вместе. Кстати, у англичан и американцев часто это единственный день в году, когда вся семья собирается за одним столом.
О праздничных символах.
Елка — это символ Нового года и у нас, и у англичан/американцев. Елку все любят наряжать, а потом ею любоваться. Но к английским детям приходит Санта Клаус, а к нашим — Дед Мороз. Их дети вешают на камин (если он есть) специальные праздничные чулки, которые Санта должен заполнить подарками. Санта, распевая песенки и прикрикивая Ho-ho-ho, ездит по небу на упряжке с оленями. Причем, каждый олень имеет имя и свою маленькую lifestory. На Рождество обязательно должны звенеть колокольчики (Jingle Bells), а если ты с кем-то оказался под омелой (это такое дерево, веточку которого вешают над дверным косяком), то вы должны поцеловать друг друга.
На рождество люди поздравляют друг друга возгласами Merry Christmas, а на Новый год желают Happy New Year!

1. Прочитайте стихотворение вслух.
Попросите учащихся послушать, как вы будете читать стихотворение вслух. Если это сложное стихотворение, вы можете дать им некоторую справочную информацию, прежде чем начать.
2. Найдите и дайте определение словам, которые учащиеся не знают.
Спросите у учащихся слова, с которыми они не знакомы. Затем попросите учащихся написать определение каждого слова на своих листах. Вы можете попросить учащегося поискать слова в словаре или подготовить определения заранее.
3. Прочтите стихотворение еще раз вслух.
Прослушивание стихотворения во второй раз поможет учащимся понять его.
Прежде чем вы это сделаете, вы можете попросить учащихся прослушать что-то конкретное. Вы можете спросить: «Как автор этого стихотворения относится к цветам? Откуда вы знаете?»
4. Перескажите стихотворение.
На этом этапе вы попросите учащихся пересказать стихотворение своими словами.
Это может быть очень полезно, когда вы учите старших школьников более сложным стихотворениям. Но даже с младшими учениками важно знать, что они понимают общую идею стихотворения.
Будет полезно, если вы придете на занятие с подготовленным конспектом, который учащиеся смогут скопировать.
5. Обсудите стихотворение.
Самое время задать им ключевые вопросы о стихотворении и его персонажах. Вы можете попросить их выбрать одно слово для описания главного героя стихотворения. Мне нравится просить студентов поддержать свои ответы, используя язык или информацию из стихотворения.
Например, если они говорят, что главный герой властен, они должны быть в состоянии привести примеры из стихотворения, где главный герой действительно властен.
6. Спросите учащихся об их опыте.
Попросите учащихся связать это стихотворение со своей жизнью. Вы можете сказать: «Опишите случай, когда вы чувствовали себя так же беззаботно, как поэт».
